Fall in Love With NYC This Autumn
There’s no better time to tour NYC than during the fall. With the cooler temperatures and falling leaves, you’ll want to hit Central Park with your sweetie on your arm and a pumpkin spiced latte in hand.
While you tour the city, of course, it’s always imperative to check out the cultural goings-on and sights, namely the most popular museums and performances/attractions. Unsure of which ones to see and where to go? Worry not! Here’s a list of the best attractions and special events to see this fall in NYC:
First and foremost, who doesn’t love a good Broadway show? With all of the lights, the music, and the riveting performances, Broadway shows are fun for the whole family. This fall, don’t miss Aladdin, Spring Awakening, and Isolde. According to Time Out, these three are among the best shows on Broadway!
With October just around the corner, things are about to get spooky in Manhattan! Among the plethora of things to do, be sure to take part in the local Halloween festivities. Be sure to check out the Village Halloween parade and catch a bite to eat at the family-friendly Jekyll and Hyde restaurant!
Thanksgiving Day Parade
What’s an autumn visit to the city without attending the famous Macy’s Thanksgiving parade? Bundle up in your warmest sweater and scarf and watch it all go down!
Art and Museums
The city has a myriad of excellent galleries and showing, but be sure not to miss the “Folk Art and American Modernism” gallery at the American Folk Art Museum on the Upper West Side. The show runs from September 1st to the 27th so you’ll have plenty of time to see the beautiful exhibit.
When in Doubt, Take a Bus Tour
